Robert Stanley is the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board for the Hasski Classic. He lives in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts with his wife and son.
Known as the “Pioneer of Golf Tournaments for Terrible Golfers” he along with other Committee Members have been able to grow the Tournament from 16 players in 2009 to 40 players in 2016 for the 8th Annual Hasski Fall Classic. When telling the Public of his plans to expand the tournament to 40 players he was told it couldn’t be done, but once again proved all of his critics wrong.
Some argue that Robert’s contributions to golf have only lead to a boosted ego for Ed Conley, but he argues it’s about more than that “When we first started this tournament it was about getting together, having fun, playing golf, and drinking some beers. But now it’s about preventing the Tournament from getting to be “too Billerica”.”He’s been elected unanimously 8 straight years to the position of Chairman of the Board and looks forward to another successful unopposed Campaign in 2017 and the future beyond.
He has two Hasski Championships and is typically considered to be a B/C/D player depending on who you ask.
